Hot Hot Hot

Holy cows it's a warm one out there.  Usually the heat doesn't bother me too bad, but this pregnancy + heat = one butt kicking!  I think the girls and I will be spending the majority of our time indoors for the next 3-4 days.

We started the week out with Robbie going to help some football boys.  He tried to sneak out, but of course Kenna caught him before he was out the door :)  That meant that I got to pack Kenna and B up and go watch the boys play football.  :)  It wasn't too bad...Robbie let us go to A&W after practice :)  Kenna got a sundae and Rob and I got root beer floats!  Kenna of course decided she needed Robbie's float and then accidently spilled it all over Robbie.  oops :)

Here is Kenna playing on the bleachers ... watching the boys play football

Then on Monday we all packed into the truck and headed to Stewartville to look at a new truck for Robbie.  We walked away new owners of a Ford F-250!  All I requested was that it had four doors and that all 3 car seats fit in the truck.  After we were done with that we went into Rochester and took the girls to Silver Lake Park.  Kenna loved the playground or 'jungleman' if you ask her what it's called.  :)  Robbie took the girls by the geese and they seemed to enjoy it.  I kept my distance and took the pictures!

She LOVES the slide!

Climbing up the big girl way!

Robbie holding B by the geese...she, just like her sister, has no fear of them!

Kenna trying to get the geese to eat out of her hand

The three of them hanging out with all the geese!

The rest of the week was spent bumming around.  These are my favorite days.  It's so fun to watch B and Kenna interact.  B has definately figured out how to be the annoying little sister.  :)  Which I think is really good for Kenna.

I think she's confused about who is suppose to sleep in there!

Kenna fell asleep on the kitchen chair watching a movie on the computer :)

Kenna helped out in the basement with mudding her bedroom.  She, however, thought that she was supposed to use the mud as paint and cover the whole wall.  :)  Oh well...she had fun!

Showing her sass as she works!

What a mess! :)

Then on Saturday we had a wedding.  The girls danced the night away!  They were the talk of the dance.  :)  Kenna definately has a lot of self confidence out there on the dance floor.  :)  It was fun to watch both of them bust a move!  As we were leaving one of the guys at the dance came up to Kenna and told her - 'You're awesome!  And don't ever let anyone tell you different.'  The mom in me got a little emotional and made me hope that she can keep at least some of that carefree, amazing personality she has right now as she grows up!

Daddy showing B how this dancing business works...it ended as B running as fast as she could around the dance floor :)

Kenna shaking it!

And finally...here's Robbie's new baby!  The girls seem to enjoy riding in it and Kenna will wonder where HER new car is when we don't drive it.  :)

Hopefully everyone stays cool this week!  Have a safe and fun 4th of July!  We will be staying nice and cool at home!
