Summer Fun

The girls have been getting to spend time with mom now that I am on summer vacation.  We had to make a trip to St. Charles one day.  Kenna got to do one of her favorite things....push the little kid cart!  She does much better shopping when there are carts like this...but we have to watch and make sure we don't get a bunch of extra food or toys. ;)  Then I wanted to stop at a bake shop before we came home so I got Kenna a cupcake.

 Here she is so happy that mom let her get the cupcake she was eyeing up in the store :)

 And....here she is MUCH more happy once she realizes there is jelly in the middle of her cupcake!

I have decided that B is definitely our little monster.  She loves getting into absolutely anything and everything!  She almost entirely ripped off the door to our entertainment center the other night.  I had to take the door off and it made its way to the garbage since there was a huge crack down the entire door. :)  She keeps us on our toes!

We went camping down in Winona this weekend.  It's fun to watch the girls play and enjoy being outside.  Kenna rode her bike around the entire campground!  She loved going by the 'ribber'. :)  Our friends Erin and Paul came over and visited with their little boy Preston.  It was nice to see them and Kenna enjoyed having someone to play with.  Friday night was a rough night for Kenna.  She was itching her ear all night and then said it hurt.  She didn't sleep well through the night and screamed and cried for a good portion of it.  We couldn't get her to tell us what was wrong.  She did get a little better when we told her we would take her to the doctor the next day.  After we all woke up we made a trip to urgent care.  She ended up having severe swimmers ear and something with her eyes that the doctor said would clear up with the antibiotic. :(  Poor babe!  Once we got the antibiotics things got much better but her poor face is still red and puffy.

 Camping is fun, but man we're beat!

Hopefully Kenna's eyes and ears clear up this week!  She's in good spirits, but I feel so bad for the poor girl when I look at her eyes.... :(  

This past week Rob and I even found time to go out.  We brought the girls to daycare on Thursday and then went to Thursday's on First.  It's a fun food and craft thing on first avenue in Rochester.  It was nice to spend some time without kids for a day, but always nice to come back to them and their hugs and kisses! :)
