For those of you that read the blog weekly...or at least randomly check up on us ;) ... I'll give a quick update on Kenna's eye. All is back to normal! YAY! The swelling went down within two days. Robbie did bring her in to the doctor on Monday to make sure there was no infection starting. We just wanted to make sure with it being so close to her eye and her rubbing it all the time that everything was as it should be. They said she looked good and we just needed to continue to give her medicine. She was a trooper and never lost her sass throughout the whole ordeal! I think by the end of it all she was loving the attention. :)
Since we didn't really do anything this week I thought it would be a good time to give a little update on the family. Robbie - He has started meeting for football already! I think he's excited, but a little nervous too with the amount of time he may have to put in with a new baby on the way. He's all geared up for Gopher football to start! Which we both enjoy because it gives us time together. He has also started working out with a buddy of his who is a personal trainer. We are SO proud of him! He has been working out everyday of the week and eating healthy! He even worked out this Saturday at a boot camp thing that his buddy put on! He's doing great and should be proud of himself! :) Katie - I'm still doing summer school. I have great kids so that helps a lot. I've also been trying to take in and enjoy the time I have with Kenna and B. Before we know it there will be three little ones we are trying to keep up with! I have started going to the doctor every two weeks now. Hard to believe I'm already that far in the pregnancy! All my tests are done and everything looked great. No diabetes or any other concerns! Makenna - Oh Makenna.... she is our little diva :) She loves dresses, jewelery, and pretty shoes. She walks the hallway as if it's her runway :) She is getting pretty excited about school. I think I hear about school at least every other day. Robbie told her the other day that SHE could pick out her new school shoes....we all know how I get though, so she may just get a choice between two. ;) She has also started to take a real interest in my belly. She will ask to touch, kiss, or sit by the baby. The other day she lifted up the sheets when she woke up to make sure the baby was still in my belly. :) She is growing up way too fast! Brynn - She is our little monster! :) Crazy how the two can be so different. B will chase Kenna all over the house. She loves to dance around in circles with Kenna....when Kenna lets her :) It's hard to clean anything in the house, because she is most definitely our mess maker. I could pick three things up and she would have seven things out. Her new thing is to stand in the kitchen and point and grunt until we figure out what she wants. She has also been hiding her food anywhere she can ... high chair, diaper, giving it to others, etc. so that her plate looks empty and then we will take her out of her high chair. :) She, too, is growing too fast!
Having a lazy week means that we don't really have a lot of exciting pictures. So I will just put up some pictures from the week...mainly weekend, since we got a rainy day and we spent the entire day in the house! The girls spent most of the day in the bedroom since the new rule in the house is... if you want to watch Disney channel you have to watch it in your bedroom....at least until the Olympics are over :)
B munching on some delicious food Melissa made!
B always runs away from Rob and me when we try to change her diaper so we asked Kenna to do it one day. :) The next couple of picture are her attempts. She did pretty good!
This is her rolling the dirty diaper up :)
Wiping!
Trying to get the diaper on! She needed a little help with this :)
Kenna and Dad lounging after he got back from his boot camp! (which is why his shorts look so dirty)
Playing with the dinosaur in their room!
Loving one another
Gotta love rainy days!
Of course the kitty gets some loving too!
Kenna wanted to do a photo shoot. Here are a few of the pictures of her making different poses for the camera :)
Look at me!
So Pretty!
Serious...
One more mom!
Hanging out in their room! Never know what kind of trouble they are getting into when they are in there ;)
We will be going on another camping trip this coming weekend. Let's hope for no bug bites to the eye! It looks like it's going to be a fun place for kids so hopefully we get lots of good pictures! We are thinking this may be our last trip. :( Hope everyone has a great week! I won't update until Monday next week!
