Just Bummin' Around

We were able to have an entire week of nothing!  It was so nice to be able to bum around and hang out with each other all week!  I can't remember the last time that we have had that.

For those of you that read the blog weekly...or at least randomly check up on us ;) ... I'll give a quick update on Kenna's eye.  All is back to normal!  YAY!  The swelling went down within two days.  Robbie did bring her in to the doctor on Monday to make sure there was no infection starting.  We just wanted to make sure with it being so close to her eye and her rubbing it all the time that everything was as it should be.  They said she looked good and we just needed to continue to give her medicine.  She was a trooper and never lost her sass throughout the whole ordeal!  I think by the end of it all she was loving the attention.  :)

Since we didn't really do anything this week I thought it would be a good time to give a little update on the family.  Robbie - He has started meeting for football already!  I think he's excited, but a little nervous too with the amount of time he may have to put in with a new baby on the way.  He's all geared up for Gopher football to start!  Which we both enjoy because it gives us time together.  He has also started working out with a buddy of his who is a personal trainer.  We are SO proud of him!  He has been working out everyday of the week and eating healthy!  He even worked out this Saturday at a boot camp thing that his buddy put on!  He's doing great and should be proud of himself! :)  Katie - I'm still doing summer school.  I have great kids so that helps a lot.  I've also been trying to take in and enjoy the time I have with Kenna and B.  Before we know it there will be three little ones we are trying to keep up with!  I have started going to the doctor every two weeks now.  Hard to believe I'm already that far in the pregnancy!  All my tests are done and everything looked great.  No diabetes or any other concerns!  Makenna - Oh Makenna.... she is our little diva :)  She loves dresses, jewelery, and pretty shoes.  She walks the hallway as if it's her runway :)  She is getting pretty excited about school.  I think I hear about school at least every other day.  Robbie told her the other day that SHE could pick out her new school shoes....we all know how I get though, so she may just get a choice between two. ;)  She has also started to take a real interest in my belly.  She will ask to touch, kiss, or sit by the baby.  The other day she lifted up the sheets when she woke up to make sure the baby was still in my belly.  :)  She is growing up way too fast!  Brynn - She is our little monster!  :)  Crazy how the two can be so different.  B will chase Kenna all over the house.  She loves to dance around in circles with Kenna....when Kenna lets her :)  It's hard to clean anything in the house, because she is most definitely our mess maker.  I could pick three things up and she would have seven things out.  Her new thing is to stand in the kitchen and point and grunt until we figure out what she wants.  She has also been hiding her food anywhere she can ... high chair, diaper, giving it to others, etc. so that her plate looks empty and then we will take her out of her high chair.   :)  She, too, is growing too fast!

Having a lazy week means that we don't really have a lot of exciting pictures.  So I will just put up some pictures from the week...mainly weekend, since we got a rainy day and we spent the entire day in the house!  The girls spent most of the day in the bedroom since the new rule in the house is... if you want to watch Disney channel you have to watch it in your bedroom....at least until the Olympics are over :)

B munching on some delicious food Melissa made!

B always runs away from Rob and me when we try to change her diaper so we asked Kenna to do it one day.  :)  The next couple of picture are her attempts.  She did pretty good!

This is her rolling the dirty diaper up :)

Wiping!

Trying to get the diaper on!  She needed a little help with this :)

Kenna and Dad lounging after he got back from his boot camp! (which is why his shorts look so dirty)

Playing with the dinosaur in their room!

Loving one another

Gotta love rainy days!

Of course the kitty gets some loving too!

Kenna wanted to do a photo shoot.  Here are a few of the pictures of her making different poses for the camera :)

Look at me!

So Pretty!

Serious...

One more mom!

Hanging out in their room!  Never know what kind of trouble they are getting into when they are in there ;)

We will be going on another camping trip this coming weekend.  Let's hope for no bug bites to the eye!  It looks like it's going to be a fun place for kids so hopefully we get lots of good pictures!  We are thinking this may be our last trip.  :(  Hope everyone has a great week!  I won't update until Monday next week!

Dang Bugs!

We spent the week hanging out with friends and then going camping this weekend.  I brought the girls to see Ty and Reese on Monday night.  They had a blast.  With B and Reese eating freezies, just like the big kids, and of course just trying to keep up with Kenna and Ty.  :)  Here are some pics from the night.

B and Reese just chillin in the kitchen with their freezies.

Kenna and Ty hanging out!

Kenna and Ty were making their own band, so naturally B and Reese needed to join! :)

The girls have really started to take a liking to Robbie lately.  They just love their daddy! :)  It gives mom a nice break too!

Robbie was stretching his arms out one day and both girls thought they needed to stretch their arms too!  :)

On Thursday we had friends over to start talking about a vacation we would like to take over spring break.  This gave the girls a chance to play with Ty and Reese, again, and for them to hang out with Morgan, who they hadn't seen since they went to Chuckie Cheese.  It was nice.

Here is Kenna just chillin with Tim.  :)

On Friday we packed up and went camping down in La Crosse.  The campground was really nice and it gave us a chance to just hang out with the girls.  We took them to a splash park on Saturday afternoon.  Kenna of course loved it.  B sat back for a while and then started to warm up to the water.  She never fully ran in the water, but the water was never consistent as to where it came up so I think she was confused.  Then on Saturday night Kenna must have been bit on her eyelid by a bug.  Her eye got completely swollen and she can barely see out of it.  I, of course, freaked out when she woke up and said 'momma I can't open my eye'.  But after getting a hold of my mom and some time I relaxed.  :)

B hanging out at the splash park.

Kenna loving the water.

I don't know how many times Rob and I had to tell her to slow down! :)

Say cheese!

Riding her bike at the campground.

Hanging out on the picnic table.

Robbie got sparklers!

SO HAPPY!

Robbie handing off the sparkler :)

Being silly in the morning!

Holding frozen sweet potatoes on her eye :)

Poor Baby :(

Have a great week everyone!  We will be relaxing this week!

Fun with cousins!

We had a good week.  Nice to be home tonight, though!  :)  I started summer school this week.  Things went really well.  It was a bit harder than I expected to get up and get the girls ready, but it's good to keep up with that routine too.

This week Robbie decided to clean the truck, van, and camper.  Kenna, of course, needed to help out too!  :)

Daddy and Kenna washing the van.

Our little helper! :)

On Wednesday, Rob and I took the girls to the fair.  I was hoping that B would be able to go on more rides, but she was still too little and could only go on the carousel.  Kenna LOVED the rides! She is growing up way too fast! :(  B LOVED the food! It caught up with her by the end of the night, though! :)

Kenna eating her hot dog.  We told her she had to eat the whole thing if she wanted to go on any rides.  She ate it all! :)

B enjoying some hot dog and potatoes!

Kenna riding on the cars.  She loved this one last year, but only had to do it once this year :)

On the little pirate ship.  Robbie asked her if she wanted him to ride with her.  She did not :(  She wanted her ticket and she was off!

B munching on a cheese curd!

On the little space shuttle thing.  She really liked this until her butt started sliding to the other side.  She wouldn't let go of the steering wheel and grab the other one.  This was the only ride that she got a little nervous and wanted off. :)

Riding the horse she picked out!

Robbie and B had to ride on the other side of the carousel, so this is the best picture I could get.  Robbie said she did whine a little when he pulled her off when the ride was done.  I'm sure she is going to love the rides just like her sister!

Here is Kenna's favorite ride of the fair this year!  It was a dragon roller coaster.  It was the only ride she did more than once.  She LOVED it!  She always got that inside spot, so the poor kid that had to sit next to her always got smashed in the turns :)

Drinking all you can drink milk!  Such a daddy's girl at times! :)

And.... the fair won! :)  It was a great night for mom!  No fights at bed time :)

This weekend we went to my parents house.  Roxy came over with the girls on Saturday and it was nice for Kenna to get to spend time with her cousins!  She had so much fun and played so hard!

Kenna helping grandma cut potatoes for the potato salad!  We told her grandma was cutting potatoes for Ashley and Erin's birthday party.  She told us she was cutting her potatoes for Lilly and Lilly was going to try them!  :)  She is so silly some times!

Working so hard!

Kenna and B helping grandma water plants!  Not sure that they were really all that much help, but they had fun :)

B getting down and dirty!  She is such a monster!  :)

On Saturday, when Roxy and the girls visited, we took the girls to the pool in Gaylord while B took a nap.  They had a blast.  I think Kenna and Lilly could have stayed there all day long!  I'm thinking B probably wouldn't have minded this pool because it was zero depth and had really neat things to play with, but it was so hot out and she doesn't handle heat the best.  She probably had more fun playing with grandma and grandpa anyway! :)

Going down the fish slide!

Lilly and Kenna waiting in line at the slide!

Playing in the water!

Our little fishy! :)

Enjoying time with cousins!

B got to get some cousin time when we got back from the pool!

Sunday we went to Erin and Ashley's birthday party.  I, of course, ate too much food!  :)  The girls had a good time and then we headed home to see dad!

Look who's able to get pigtails in now!  :)

Sisterly Love!

Playing with cousins!

Watching so closely while Ashley gets sung to!

I think she thinks it's her birthday :)  She did give it back to Erin without a temper tantrum :)

Grandpa holding the iPad so Kenna can play the cool Barbie game!

B made another friend!  Vannah was really good with her :)

Hey!  Are you listening to me???

Thinking it's so funny to fall over while dancing! :)

Spinning around to music!

It's been a busy, but fun week!  Robbie worked this weekend so he couldn't come with us :(  We were all excited to get home and see him!  I think he enjoys all the love and attention he gets when we get back, too! :)  We are going camping this next weekend, so he will be able to spend some nice quality time with the girls.  They will love it!  Hope everyone has a great week!
