We celebrated Kenna's 3rd Birthday on Saturday. Can you believe she is going to be 3?!?! Where did the time go! She was super excited and of course LOVED all the attention :) This was the first year that she was able to tell me what kind of party she wanted, so that was fun. (until I realized that Wilton didn't have a cake mold for Yo Gabba Gabba) It all worked out, though, and the cake was a hit with the kids :)
Kenna enjoyed all her gifts! She woke up at 4 AM today and was asking for her LEGO's. She did go back to bed once she got to crawl in bed with mom and dad :) I guess it was better than playing LEGO's... It's so fun to watch her grow and become a little girl. She also did great telling everyone Thank You for her gifts, which made mom and dad proud. We would like to thank everyone who made it to the party and those of you that thought of her. We all truly appreciate it! Here is a pic of Kenna with one of her gifts. It's pretty much the look I got for every picture :)
The weather was beautiful out for her birthday, which was wonderful! The kids were able to play outside and keep themselves busy. It was also nice because we were able to set up chairs and tables outside so it wasn't so crowded in the house. We had to take advantage of it because we know we won't always be this lucky! Kenna had a great time with all the cousins and she seemed to use all her energy to push Lilly in the swing :)
B has been doing great. She is in the phase of really enjoying when she gets Kenna worked up. She will take Kenna's toys, but put them down if Kenna doesn't get mad about it :) I guess she already knows her role :) She's starting to stand for 5 seconds on her own. She seems like she really wants to get going, but she's just not completely sure how to just quite yet. All in all everyone is doing well. Been a busy weekend and ready to just lay back and relax! Thank goodness spring break is in 2 weeks!!!!!
