Happy Easter!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!  Robbie had to work this year so we stayed home.  The kids had a great day.  It was rainy most of the day here so we spent the day inside.

Last week we went to Hutch and celebrated Lilly's birthday!  We decided to go on Friday and spend the night...BEST decision we made!  Only having to be in the car for 3+ hours vs 6+ means sanity for the whole family.  As always it was nice to get together with family.  We came home Saturday, which was nice, because we spent all of Sunday bumming around.

I had Thursday, Friday, and Monday off from work.  The kids went to daycare on Thursday, but were with me Friday and Monday.  We dyed Easter eggs, made Amish friendship bread, did some shopping, and played outside.  As fun as it all was, this mom is ready to go back to work tomorrow ;)

Kenna has been extra emotional lately!  Does not like to be told no or that she is wrong.  I'm hoping it's just a stage she is in.  ;)  She is becoming so independent!  Which is really nice for me.  Gets herself ready in the morning and gets in the car and buckles herself up.  She will also keep an eye on her brother and sister so I can run on the treadmill :)

B is the same old B.  Always into something :)  She is starting to use her words a lot more.  She's so different than Kenna.  She has found a way for everyone to talk for her so she doesn't say much.  We've been really working on no one getting anything for her until she uses her words.  It's getting better.  The first couple weeks she would scream and cry thinking she could get out of it.  Didn't work quite the way she hoped ;)

Wade is busy.  He's always finding something to pick up and throw across the room!  Definitely a lot rougher on his toys than the girls. :)  He crawled out of his crib over Easter break but hasn't done it again!!!  Let's hope he thinks it was a bad choice and waits awhile to try that again. ;)

Robbie is starting lifting with his old lifting partner this week.  He seems excited to get back into the groove of everything.  This winter and him changing to day shift really kicked his workout schedule in the butt.  I am going to try yoga this week and join a workout class at the studio in town to change up my routine.

Kenna and I are off to the Little Mermaid on Saturday!!!  It should be a good time.  I can't wait to watch Makenna's reaction to everything!
