Farm Fun

We went to my parents this past weekend.  Unfortunately it was for a funeral, but it was nice to be able to see family.
Kenna is ready to get back to school!  We went school shopping.  She had a blast.  She only picked out dresses to wear.  And then she picked out purple Nike's for her shoes ;)  She's such a funny girl.  B is nuts!  She definitely walks to the beat of her own drum!  She's so fun, though ;)  Wade is growing so fast!  He LOVES watching his sisters!  Before we know it he's gonna be running around chasing after his sissy's :)
When we were home the girls got to see uncle Jason, uncle Pete, aunt Roxy, and some of their cousins.  Boy do they love their aunts, uncles, and cousins!  It's always nice to get them all together.
Other than that not a lot going on here.  Robbie has his first game this coming week and I start at St. Charles this week!

Lake Neshonoc

I'm posting again!!! In the same month!!!! :)

This last weekend we went camping at Lake Neshonoc with Steve and Deb.  The campsite was big and our view was beautiful!!!!  We had never camped there before, but had heard good things.  I have to say, this is a campground I plan to go to again!  Nice pool, lots of playground equipment, and pave roads throughout so Kenna could ride her bike all over.  The kids, as usual, enjoyed themselves.  Kenna was able to spend LOTS of time on the playground and swim in the big and little pools :)  She loves jumping in the big pool!  She is becoming such a big girl!

Kenna - She's ready for school.  Mom's ready for school to start for her too.  She will be tired at night and hopefully her listening will improve ;)  I swear she learns something new everyday.  Sometimes I'm so surprised by the things she knows!  She also is our little repeater.  The latest repeat offense was when we were camping.  Someone told Kenna to throw the cardboard box on the fire.  Once it started on fire, the flames became really high.  Steve said 'holy shit' and before we knew it ... Kenna is all huge eyed staring at the fire quietly repeating 'holy shit, holy shit, holy shit'.  She looked so darn cute we couldn't even get mad at her ;)

B - She's slowly becoming more girly.  She cracks me up.  She is Kenna's little mini me.  Follows her around and copies everything Kenna does.  She is using her words more, but does NOT like to use her manners.  Will have an all out temper tantrum before she will ever say PLEASE :)  Our stubborn little turkey.

Wade - He thinks he's a big boy.  Pulls himself up on everything!  Tries to stand on his own.  He has for about 5 seconds!!!!  Before we know it he will be running around with his sisters!  He LOVES to follow B around and get her all worked up by trying to take her blankie :)  It's crazy to think in a couple months he will be 1!!!!  Where has the time gone?!?!?!

Rob and Katie - We are good.  Rob has started coaching for St. Charles and I am on my last week of 3 that I got for vacation this summer :)  Crazy to believe that football and school is already here!

Hope everyone is doing well!!!!

August Already!!!

It's hard to believe it's August already!!!!  And....of course....I'm not getting better at this blogging business ;)  Maybe now that I'm completely done with Rochester things will slow down....Wishful thinking, I know :)

I'm sure most of you have heard, but, Wade had a febrile seizure last weekend.  We were at a friends wedding when he began to seize.  Thankfully there were nurses at the wedding and they took good care of him.  Since the seizure was due to his fever he didn't need a CT scan and they are not overly concerned.  They say it happens in 1/3 kids.  Still scary and of course worst case scenario plays in my mind the entire time we are waiting results.  He is doing great now.  Back to his happy go lucky self.  He is definitely trying to give his mom a heart attack before she turns 30!!!!!!!

B is still her fun, crazy, silly self.  She has such a personality!  She has started to be a bit more emotional and will cry anytime she is told no or we raise our voice with her.  I think it's because she thinks she will get out of being in trouble :o)  Her and Wade are definitely partners in crime.  She will get him to do things and drag him around the house and all he does is laugh.  Which doesn't help our cause as we are yelling at her to stop being mean to her brother.  ;)

Kenna is ready for school to start.  She asks me every week if she gets to go to school.  I think me working all summer has really confused her as to why she isn't going ;)  She's so smart.  She surprises me everyday with something new she knows.  She's definitely a girly girl.  She walks around the house in heels, dresses, and talking on the phone to some boy named Gavin she rides the bus with.  We aren't so sure about this Gavin boy ;)

Robbie is doing well.  He took a little break on the diet and has now kicked it in gear again.  It's so easy to come up with excuses to not go to the gym or eat healthy.  He was mad at himself, but good thing is that he's a man.  I think he lost 10 pounds in this first week back at it!  Wish it worked that way for me!  He is taking Makenna to the Vikings training camp on Monday with Travis and Ty.  She is really excited.

I finished up with Rochester on Thursday.  I am officially done.  Definitely bitter sweet.  I appreciate all the experiences and opportunities JM gave me.  They shaped me into the teacher I am, but I know this change is best for our family.  In the midst of working all summer I have also taken up running.  I have decided to run the Mankato Half Marathon on October 20.  I'm freaked out about it, but I was just feeling that I needed to do something to make me feel good and it gives me time each day to focus on me.

Hope everyone is doing well and you enjoy your last month of summer!!!

Silly boy!!! :)

Drinking like a big girl!!!

So happy to be outside with his sisters!

She rides ahead of us now, so she has to wear her helmet every time she's on her bike now :)
