Day late ... again

So this being a day late on the blog is beginning to be my MO :)  I got a snow day today!!!!  It's funny how quickly you revert back to when you were a kid .... checking the bottom line/computer nonstop, going to bed hoping, waking up and turning the TV on immediately, and then when you see your school is closed you jump for joy and hop right back into bed :)
Kids are good.  Kenna is still enjoying school and loves being the boss.  B  has really started to talk more and follow Kenna EVERYWHERE!  Wade has been sick.  Poor buddy had bronchialitis.  He is currently getting 4 neb treatments a day.  I took him in for a follow up appointment and they said he is getting better....slowly, but he is showing improvement.  Today I walked on the treadmill with him in the baby bjorn because he's been so fussy :(
Robbie is doing good.  He has adjusted to his new schedule.  He's had a bit of a harder time making it to the gym this last week with Wade being sick and all.  But...soon everyone should be healthy again and all will be back to normal :)
I am doing good.  Busy with work and keeping up with the kids. :)

Ready to hit the treadmill :)

Watching TV together!

Here is what happens when we take the 'game' away because they can't share :) haha

Happy MLK Day!

Sorry I'm a day late.  We spent the weekend working on the bathroom in the basement.  We are pretty much done with it!  Just need to get the trim up.  YAY!  It will be so nice when our basement is done and we have the extra space!
Not too much exciting happened this week.  On Monday the kids went to our back up babysitter, Deb. They had a blast.  One of Kenna's friends from pre-school goes to Deb's so they spent all day playing.  B got to play with another little boy around her age.  They seemed to have a great time!  Wade got lots of loving, which was right up his alley :)  By the end of the week all the kids had colds and I stayed home with B on Friday because she was throwing up on Thursday night :(
Last night I met up with Melissa and we had drinks and just caught up.  It was so nice to spend some adult time without the kiddos.
Today I didn't have to work, so we brought the kids to daycare and then Rob and I went to the gym together.  I love days like this!  The only crummy part was that the gym was 56 degrees!  I was so cold!  This week is finals at work for me.  Let's hope the week goes smoothly and I don't lose my mind with all the tests I will be reading!  :)
Here are a few pictures:
B sleeping on Friday when I stayed home with her ... poor babe :(

Wade just relaxin' :)  He looks so much like Kenna here...she sleeps with her hands like this all the time :)

Just Hangin' Out

We spent the week just chillin' at home.  It's so nice to have the meal plan and meals ready for the night!  No stress trying to figure out what we are going to eat! :)
So I had to go to the dentist and have a root canal this week :(  I hate the dentist!  Which is what got me into this whole mess in the first place.  Didn't go while I was pregnant and that's not the best choice :p  I also went to the gym with Robbie in the morning that day.  It was nice to go to a gym and lift weights.  Usually I only get on the treadmill so it was a nice change.  My friend Melissa goes to a studio/gym that offers classes in St. Charles and with Robbie starting a new schedule I'm hoping we can go to a class on Tuesday mornings before work.
Robbie is up to the same old things he does every week.  He did a full body analysis on Friday and he was down like 11% body fat so he was pretty excited!  He's still working hard and doing good on his plan.  His job is going good.  His hours changed today, but he doesn't seem to think it will be bad so that is good.
Makenna is still enjoying school.  She will be having her early childhood screening soon.  Robbie will take her to that because my students have finals at that time :(  I know she'll do great!  Just mommy wanting to be there for those things ;)
B is good.  Loves to pick on her sister and getting into most anything she shouldn't :)  Her new thing is that she thinks she needs to spend all night playing with toys.  She has been pretty tired in the morning :o)
Wade is smiling all the time now and even giggling!  He's so fun and such an easy babe.  He loves all the attention for his sisters.
Not much planned for this week.  Going to make my first egg rolls on Friday!  Super excited to try a 'real' egg roll :)  Not a Schwan's one ;)

Here are a few pics:

Just hangin' on Sunday :)  (Pajama day!)

Hoping to have figured this out

So I'm pretty sure I figured this out.  Well...let's hope I did :)  Here are a few pics and I will put more up this coming weekend.

On Friday Kenna and Robbie went to a Winona State basketball game and Wade, B, and I stayed home.  B snuggled with me!  This is not an everyday occurrence so I was super excited :)

Wade chilling out in his Viking gear!  Too bad they lost :(  He's still pretty darn cute though!

All the kiddos during the game :)

Packer/Viking Fun

We had a great week.  School started right away on the 2nd so I've had a half a week to get back into the swing of things :)  The one positive with school starting is that it's much easier to follow a diet when I'm busy with the kids instead of sitting at home watching TV :)
Robbie is still busy with work and the gym.  He pulled a muscle or at least it was really sore in his thigh this week.  He made it to the gym every day, though!  He's one tough cookie :)
Makenna started back up at school.  She was so excited.  :)  It's nice to see how much she enjoys going to school.  She's really become quite the know it all since she started school!  :o)
B loves going to Vicky's.  She is so laid back and has such a fun personality.  She definately is the one that keeps us on our toes, but I wouldn't have it any other way :)
Wade has been good.  He smiles all the time now and has found his role in the family as the baby and only boy ;)  The girls love to talk with him and make him smile.
For the big Packer/Viking game we went to a friends house.  It was a good time.  The best part was being able to spend time with them.  It seemed like it had been forever since the last time we hung out!  Then on Sunday our friend Cassie and her boyfriend, Phil, visited.  It was nice to see them.  It had been WAY too long!
Right now the site is acting up and won't let me put any pictures up.  I will try and get some on tomorrow.  Hope you are all doing well!

HAPPY NEW YEAR

So here I go again...trying to keep up with this blog :)
I'm not very good at New Year resolutions so I don't usually make one.  I am, however, trying monthly challenges for myself along with creating monthly meal plans.  Did my first shopping trip and can already tell if I keep it up I will be able to save money!  On a positive note for me ... I have made it to completely running the 3.1 miles for a 5K.  Not as fast as I would like, but don't plan on running one until this summer so I have time to speed up.  :)
Robbie is doing good.  He's dealing with some changes going on in his work, but like most at this time we are just thankful for having good jobs.  His workouts are going good.  He is still losing weight, but has maintained through the holidays.  We are both really kickin it in gear for our trip to Florida in April!!!!!
Kids are good.
Makenna is still LOVING pre-school and is quite sassy.  I love that she has little conversations with us! She really got Christmas this year.  We are now having to have the converstation with her about how Christmas isn't all about gifts and that we need to be grateful for whatever we get.  :) My baby is growing way too fast!
B is running around like crazy!  Loves to pick on Kenna and tear our house apart :)  She is starting to say more and it's so exciting to see her grow!  Her new thing, though, is pulling her diaper off and peeing in her bed during naptime.
Wade is growing like a weed!  He is starting to smile and show his personality.  He does great dealing with this mad house!  :)
I still plan on posting pictures, but not quite as many because I don't want to have to pay.  I know...I'm cheap...Robbie tells me that all the time :)  So if you would like me to e-mail you random pics please just let me know!  kjw02@hotmail.com

Here we are at Christmas!

And here is our happy boy :)
