No Baby Yet..... :)

Well, there's no baby yet.  Last weekend I was actually having some signs labor may be coming soon.  This week, things have really subsided and not much of anything :).  Went to the doctor on Wednesday and nothing new.  Everything was looked and sounded good.

The girls are up to the same old.  Kenna still really LOVES pre-school.  She will tell us how she listens to the teacher and what she has for snack.  :)  Janelle watched them for  awhile on Monday and she said all she could get out of Kenna was that she plays at school.  :)  It's so fun to watch her grow, though.  The other night she counted to 5 without skipping any numbers and she drew a picture of Robbie on the etch a sketch thing.  The picture had hair, eyes, nose, and mouth!  I think they are going over parts of their face right now, though, because I had to make a picture of Kenna for class.  Kenna also got her book order from school.  We ordered the Pinkalicious set - it came with 4 books (Pinkalicious, Purplelicious, Goldalicious, and Silveralicious).  She thinks the books are pretty cool and it was even cooler that she got them at school.  :)  B  is still our crazy little girl.  She will get excited and crawl around the house backwards or just run as fast ash she can all around the house :)  Her new word that she loves to say is baby.  She will walk around with all of her babies and say baby nonstop.  :)  And, of course, she loves to do anything that Kenna is doing.

Robbie is still busy coaching, working out, and working.  Coaching keeps him pretty busy.  He either has a game or practice every night and then he does film on Saturday mornings.  He really enjoys his 9th grade boys.  The girls and I haven't made it to a game yet because I'm just not up to chasing two girls around once I get home from work.  :)  I'm hoping it will still be nice enough outside once the baby comes that we could go to one of his games then.  He's doing great with his working out and has lost like 45 pounds.  When you look at pictures from earlier in the summer to now you can really tell that he has lost.  He's really excited and enjoys when he can notice the changes. :)

On Saturday, the girls and I went to Melissa's for the afternoon/night.  Trav went to the cities for the Viking game on Sunday and Robbie had to work.  Robbie didn't get to go to the Gopher game or the Viking game with Trav because of it being so close to baby.  Now we know he could have gone since nothing has happened and it doesn't look like anything will be soon.  The girls played so hard.  It's funny watching them all play.  B and Reese would have little baby conversations, but they got along great! :)  Kenna and Ty are funny.  They have such a brother/sister type relationship.  Kenna is such a girl and will come and tattle anytime she is unhappy with the way things are going and Ty is such a boy and will take care of the situation on his own.  :)  It was really good to hang out, though.  I hadn't seen the kids since the last time I watched them when Melissa was on the walk and I can't remember the last time that Melissa and I were able to just catch up.

Today we are hoping to watch the Vikings and Packers pull of some wins and just hang out.  Kenna has requested sghetti-o's and french fries for lunch so looks like that is what we will be having :)

Here are some pics from the week:

Sporting the new fleece coat we got at 6 AM :)

No way we can take a picture of B without getting one of Kenna too :)

Last little bit of summer???

What a beautiful week!  Crazy that they are talking 50's and 60's for this week.  This week Robbie's 9th grade boys had their first win, the basement was finished and Robbie went to the Gopher game.  The girls enjoyed just chilling out  and spending time at home.  We didn't go to the big 9th grade game because I'm starting to get uncomfortable and really tired and I didn't feel like running after B during the entire game :)  It looks like I'll make it to get my Strep B test done.  I have been having minor contractions and a lot of pelvic pain, but I think I had these symptoms with Kenna for 1-2 weeks before I went into labor.  We will see :)  On Wednesday they completely finished with our basement.  It looks great!  Can't wait to start painting and get flooring down there so that we all have another place to go hang out!  The toys are going down there as soon as it's done!  Robbie went to the Gopher game with my parents and his friend.  He said they had a good time.  They did some tailgating this weekend, so it was probably a little more exciting for my parents this weekend.  :)  Plus they had someone they could drink beer with ;)  On Saturday I took the girls shopping.  We got some pants for Kenna, a baby book for the new baby, a girl and boy outfit for the new babe, and some groceries.  Kenna picked out the baby book and the outfits :)  I was starting to go into a little panic because we had none of that and with the girls we had it all way ahead of time.  I also packed bags for myself and the girls for when the time does come.  With B I was late and still didn't have bags packed.  That was not a good decision on my part :)  So....we are ready for baby any day now!  Saturday night, B and Kenna slept in the same room and made it all night!!!! YAY.  B is in the pack and play, but at least out of the crib :)  Then Sunday we all hung out and went shopping.  Robbie needed some shoes and I wanted to get B some of the pants I got Kenna yesterday after I realized what a good deal they were.  It was nice to spend some time all together.  Sometimes I feel like we are always going and don't get enough time as just us.  Here are some pics from the week.

B hanging out in the box Grandma White gave us!  :)

Kenna thinking she needed to join in on the fun.  B doesn't seem to think it was such a great idea :)

Making cupcakes this weekend!

This is the best I could do for pics of B.  Every time I brought the camera out she would run down the hall!

Here's what our house looks like on a Saturday afternoon :)

Kenna asked to play her game....here's what I found after 15 minutes :)

Daddy got home and B thought she should help him out!

Still helping...

and trying to get away from the camera :)

Go Gophers!

We made it through the first full week of school!  I ended up going into Urgent Care on Monday for my sinuses.  They confirmed that is was a sinus infection and gave me some antibiotics for it.  Once I got some nasal spray and was taking the antibiotics I felt much better!  Only downfall was that they couldn't do the Strep B test on me because the antibiotics would kill it so the test wouldn't be accurate.  The doctor said that he won't be able to test me until 38 weeks so if I go before then they will treat me as if I have it.  I didn't have it with the girls so I'm not completely sure what that entails, but I think it's just a shot they give me while I am in labor.  Kenna had her first day of preschool!  She LOVED it.  She was up around 5:30 AM on Tuesday ready to go.  :)  Robbie brought her in and said that she knew exactly where her school was and where to go.  He had to ask her to come back to give him a hug :).  She got to ride the bus to Vicky's after daycare and LOVED that too!  Vicky said she talked and talked and talked about her day.  She went again on Thursday.  Rode the bus to school and back to Vicky's.  She did great with it.  She's really becoming a big girl!  The guys are almost finished with taping, mudding, and texturing our basement!  This is really exciting for us.  Then we don't have to worry about all the dust and junk when the baby comes.  On Friday we went to my parents.  Saturday was the Gopher home opener.  The girls went to Aunt Roxy and Uncle Peter's house and my parents, my friend Carrie, and I went to the game.  They won big!  More than I can say for half of the Big 10!  Then Sunday we went to church, had a hamburger fry, watched the first half of the Vikings and headed home.  The girls were ready to see dad!  Here are some pictures from the week.

This is the picture I got of Kenna around 6:00 AM before I left for my first day with students. :)

Outside of school and ready to go in!

Taking the snacks out of her bag!  She made sure to let me know she shared ALL of her treats :)

Poor baby has a bruise on her left cheek... :(  She was trying to get Robbie and she fell and hit her cheek on the chair.

Preschool wore her out...She went to bed at 5:45 PM and I woke her up at 6:00 AM the next day!

Riding cousin Ashley!

ATTACK!

Yep...still bothering the big cousin :)

Aunt Roxy and the girls wore her out :)

B...always making friends!

Watching TV

Hope everyone has a great week!  We actually don't have anything planned.  Will be really nice to sit at home for the weekend!  Might be one of our last quiet weekends for awhile!  :)

Back to Work

So I started back to work this week.  It was nice to get back in the flow of things.  I can tell that I am used to my sleep and things being much more laid back.  Wound up getting a sinus infection this week :(  I've never had one before so I have been absolutely miserable....not to mention it took about a half a week for me to realize that it was my sinuses and not my teeth.  The girls got to go back to daycare full-time, which the LOVE!  Robbie had his first Varsity football game.  They lost, but it was a hard team.  His first 9th grade game will be this coming Thursday.  We took the girls to the State Fair on Saturday, but didn't last too long because I wound up getting light headed and not feeling well because of my sinuses. :(  Kenna was really sad when we made her get out of the bubbles.  Rob and I, of course, felt horrible so we made a stop at Sams Club and got her an iPad :) (A gift for the whole family :)  Cuz I'm sure mom and dad will be using it just as much!)  She LOVES it.  B LOVES trying to help.  Kenna is very patient, though, and will try to show B what to do.  When she has enough she moves to higher ground so B can't get her :)
We are light on the pictures this week.  Trying to get back in the swing of work and not feeling the best didn't help us with remembering to take pictures :)

Kenna painting an apple at her pre-school open house.  She LOVED it and cried when she realized that she didn't get to go to school the next day.

B all smiles while we ate at Subway.

Sisterly love!

Pretty little girl!

So...Kenna through a shoe across the room and then B picked up a shoe and through it at her.  Of course, Kenna cried and had to put a bandaid on her nose because B hurt her :)

B watching Kenna figuring out the iPad.

Our little gamer :)

B hanging out in her favorite spot of the house....the couch :)

**Robbie update:  He is down to 276 from his starting weight of 315!  He is down a total of 4% body fat, 3.5 inches in his chest and 4 inches in his waist!  He did pretty good at the State Fair...he didn't have much time to eat too horribly with me being the big party pooper :)  He is still doing great and still has the dedication and drive he started with!  We are all so proud of him!!**

Hope everyone has a wonderful week!
