A Week Without Daddy....

So ... Robbie was away for the week.  It was rough for Kenna who spent every night in bed with mom.  No complaints here, though.  :)  I feel like my baby is growing up way too fast!  Monday the girls went to Vicky's because I had a training all day.  I was really dreading going back to work, but thankfully the speaker was interesting.  Then on Tuesday I had a doctor appointment so I brought the girls to Vicky for the day, again.  The appointment went well.  Everything sounded great...baby's heartbeat was in the 130's and the head was down.  My sciatica has really faded so that has been nice.  Then...I mowed the lawn. :)  Let's just say it was an interesting experience.  I could only get the rider started so nothing was trimmed and I got as close to things as I possibly could.  I also didn't know how to move the deck so it would mow shorter so I didn't get it super short either.  :)  Hey...I tried ;)  Wednesday I had to go into work so the girls went to Vick for a little while again.  But then I had them for the rest of the week! :)  Robbie came home Friday and his girls, me included :), were ready for him to be home!  We went to the football game in Lewiston on Friday, since he got home much earlier than expected.  It was nice to see a lot of people we haven't seen for a while.  Then on Saturday we headed up to the cities to cheer on our friends Melissa and Lisa, who were walking the 3 day Susan G. Komen walk.  Sunday we hit up the St. Charles parade and then bummed around home!  Here are some pics from the week!

B LOVES tubby time! :)

B thinks she is pretty cool hanging out with her big sissy!  Kenna doesn't seem as amused :)

Our beautiful smiley girl!

Kenna got ribbons at daycare!

Went to Target and I got some frosted animal crackers for the way home.  Good thing I only gave her the white ones!  :)

On Friday I watched Ty and Reese, while Melissa was on her walk.  Kids did great!  Here are Kenna and Ty making playdough!

B hanging out with the Gora's :)

After fighting nap time for 2 hours she lost the battle!

All dressed in their pink and ready to go cheer on the ladies!

Watching the walkers and waiting for Lisa and Melissa to come down the hill!

And they made it!  Way to go ladies!  They had 2 miles left to go for the day and looked great!

B being silly during supper! :)

So...getting pictures of the girls during the parade didn't work out very well.  Much harder with 2 that move around :)  But....as you can see they made out very well in the candy department!

I start work full time this week!  I can't believe it's already that time.  I'm very excited to get back to work, but also nervous with the new position.  Robbie is home, so that will make things much easier.  We plan to have a laid back week and then hang out and do some fun things with the girls over the weekend!

**Robbie update - he did pretty good with his cleanse.  I think if he did it again he would do it when he was home.  Not only were there times he went out and had to try and find meals that went with his cleanse guidelines, we then went up to the cities and all of his girls were hungry so we made him go out then too.  But on Sunday morning he woke up and went to the gym!  What an all star!  A milestone that he hit this week is that his pants fall off when he doesn't have a belt on!  He starts back hardcore in the gym again tomorrow.**

Have a great week everyone!

Hanging out on the Farm

We spent the beginning of the week at my parents house.  The girls had a blast with their cousins!  I enjoyed not having to cook and getting a little time to just relax.  :)

On Monday we went to the Bernadotte Night Out.  The girls had lots of fun playing in the sand and eating delicious food!

Giving Kenna a mermaid tail :)  You can tell Ashley and Erin spend lots of time on the beach in the summer!

B trying to help out!

After all that sand it was time for a tubby and nothing beats tummy time with your cousin!

After the busy night EVERYONE was tuckered out :)

On Tuesday it was time for Kenna to get her hair cut!  She was more than ready to get it cut, plus Lilly came with for some moral support.  :)  Then we spent the rest of the day hanging out and playing with all the cool things at grandma and grandpas!  Later in the day we made grandpa's birthday gift and cupcakes!

Here's the before picture!

Gayle cutting Kenna's hair!!!!!

And...the after :)

She know's she's cute! :)

B's favorite chair at grandma and grandpa's!

Making the cupcakes.....

Decorating the cupcakes.....

The finished products!  :)

B's new thing is to run as fast as she can with her arms in the air :)  She's pretty darn cute when she gets moving!

On our last day there grandpa had the girls helping him outside.  Then grandma brought home pizza for his birthday and the girls got to eat pizza and cupcakes!  Then we headed home to see dad!

All the girls hard at work!

B watching Kenna working hard.

B thinking she needs to try this out :)

Grandpa with his candy bar card from the girls!  The best part was that he shared a candy bar with the each of them :)

The rest of the week was spent relaxing and hanging out with dad!  On Saturday Robbie and I took Kenna school shopping.  She picked out a bunch of cute dresses for school, a sparkly Barbie backpack, and some sparkly light up shoes!  She is all set :)  On Sunday Robbie left for shooting instructor school.  He's going to be gone for the entire week!  :(  We will miss him, but it's a great opportunity for him!

**Robbie update - As for his working out and dieting, Robbie is still doing a wonderful job.  He was down 25 pounds on Friday.  He went to the doctor on Thursday just to get everything checked out since he hadn't been there for a physical for 9-10 years.  Things checked out great and the doctor was very impressed with his lifestyle change.  He started a cleanse on Saturday and said that it has been tough.  I know he will do great and follow through, though!  It will be a challenge with him being in a hotel room all week, but he has a lot of will power!**

Hope everyone has a wonderful week!  I hope to get some time spent with the girls, but I also have some meetings for work already this week :(

Where did summer go?!?!

Well...we had a pretty uneventful week.  Stayed home, bummed around, and met up with friends.  Robbie did great and kept up with his exercise routine!  I even went and watched him one day. :)  Problem is...when the big pregnant lady comes with you end up going out to eat afterwards..... :s  Robbie of course did great and really thought about what he was going to get, didn't eat it all, and still felt guilty after going out!  What a guy! :)
On Tuesday we brought the girls with to the doctor appointment.  They got to hear the heartbeat!  I don't think B even noticed it :)  Kenna, however, did and seemed to show a little interest in what was going on.  Everything was good and baby sounded perfect!  I am, however, suffering from sciatica.  It's a pain in the butt!  LITERALLY!
We got pictures taken at JC Penny on Saturday, so I will have pictures for people by August 24!  They turned out pretty good.  B is not a huge picture taker anymore so we did the best we could! ;)
I came to my parents on Saturday and the girls and I are staying until Wednesday.  My brother and his wife are going to Europe, so the cousins are here!  Should be a good time.  Here are a couple pictures taken this weekend.

Kenna helping grandma make cucumber salad....Pretty sure grandma hasn't been able to make anything this weekend without her help ;)

Kenna all kinds of mad at us when we wouldn't let her in the basement because grandma was walking on the treadmill.

Playing with moms old Barbies!!!!

B hanging out by her favorite window!  :)

I hope everyone has a wonderful week!  Kenna will be getting her haircut this week so I will take a before and after pic!  The hope in our house is that we no longer have screaming temper tantrums when it's time to comb our hair!  :)

***Robbie update:  He's doing AWESOME!!! Here are his measurements and weights from the first, second, and fourth week.  I can't wait until the baby comes so he can push me to do as good as he is doing!  He has started selling Advocare now and seems to really enjoy the products.  He starts football this week so he will be one busy guy!***

Jellystone Fun!

We went camping at a Jellystone Campground with Steve and Deb this weekend.  It was a lot of fun.  The best part was that there were barely any bugs!!!!  We pulled into the campground on Friday.  My brother Jason and his family were visiting from Colorado, so on Friday we all loaded up and made a trip to Owatonna and had supper with them.  It was nice to see them and it was great for the girls to get to see their cousins!

Hanging with the cousins!

We spent the rest of the weekend hanging out at the campground.  They had lots of fun things to do.  They had a swimming pool, jumping pillow, paddle boats, a dance, and lots of other activities!  We took the girls swimming and they both really enjoyed it.  Robbie worked with Kenna on swimming by herself.  She did awesome!  We also went on a paddle boat ride.  That probably wasn't the best idea looking back.  B didn't like her life jacket and with two little ones Rob was the one who ended up doing all of the paddling.  :)  Steve and Deb took the girls on a kiddie train ride and they said the girls really enjoyed it.  We took the girls to the petting zoo.  B loved it and was on a mission to touch all the animals!  She had NO fear.  Kenna was nervous around the goats and horses.  Not so much around the bunnies.  We tried mini golfing....it was a good thing that there was nobody else there.  ;)  And of course the dance was a huge hit!  The girls had a great time and by the time we got home today we were all ready to just lay around and watch a little TV.  :)

B hanging out with a stuffed bear Steve won at Perkins :)

Kenna patiently waiting for the boys to get the fishing stuff figured out!

Kenna waiting on dad.

Kenna trying to throw the line out on her own....Grandpa ended up having to do it for her ;)

They got to meet Yogi!!!! B wouldn't stand by him :)

Kenna running on the jumping pillow!  She loved it!

Hanging out by Yogi before we leave!

We had a great weekend.  It was definitely busy!  I'm looking forward to being able to do camping trips like this with 3 kids instead of being pregnant and chasing 2 kids around!

**Robbie update:  He met his first goal on Friday!  He has lost 16 lbs in 3 weeks!   We are so proud of him.  He did great camping, too!  He will have to help me get on track once this baby comes! :) **
